Please read these terms carefully before using this site or making a purchase.

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Planet Purple website and your purchase of products from our retail location at 39530 W Red Arrow Hwy, Paw Paw, MI 49079. By accessing this site or making a purchase, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use this site or purchase our products.

1. Age Requirement & Eligibility

You must be 21 years of age or older with a valid, unexpired government-issued photo ID to access this website, enter our retail location, and purchase cannabis products. This requirement applies to both Michigan residents and out-of-state visitors in accordance with the Michigan Regulation and Taxation of Marihuana Act (MRTMA). By using this site, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement.

We verify age at point of entry and at the time of sale. If you use our online menu or ordering experience, the platform may also prompt for age confirmation as required by law and processor rules. Providing false information to circumvent age verification is prohibited and may be a violation of Michigan law.

2. Michigan Cannabis Law Compliance

All products sold by Planet Purple are regulated under the MRTMA and the rules of the Michigan Cannabis Regulatory Agency (CRA). By purchasing from us, you agree to:

  • Use cannabis products only in compliance with all applicable Michigan state and local laws
  • Not resell, redistribute, or provide cannabis products to any person under the age of 21
  • Not transport cannabis products across state lines - cannabis remains illegal under federal law, and transporting it outside Michigan is a federal offense regardless of the laws in the destination state
  • Not consume cannabis products in any public place, which is prohibited under Michigan law
  • Store cannabis products safely and keep them out of reach of children, minors, and pets

3. Purchase & Possession Limits

Michigan law imposes the following limits on adult-use cannabis:

  • Per transaction: Up to 2.5 ounces of cannabis, with no more than 15 grams in concentrate form. Up to 3 immature plants.
  • Personal possession (outside the home): Up to 2.5 ounces of cannabis (max 15 g concentrate)
  • Home storage: Up to 10 ounces, provided that any amount over 2.5 ounces is stored in a locked container

It is your sole responsibility to know and comply with all applicable purchase and possession limits. Our staff may decline a transaction if it would exceed legal limits.

4. Products & Labeling

All products sold at Planet Purple have been tested by Michigan-licensed safety compliance facilities and are labeled in accordance with CRA requirements. Product descriptions, images, and potency information on this website are provided for informational purposes and may vary from the actual product due to batch differences, labeling updates, or availability changes.

We reserve the right to limit quantities, refuse service, or discontinue products at any time without notice.

5. No Medical Advice

Nothing on this website or communicated by our staff constitutes medical advice. We are not physicians, and our products are not approved by the FDA. Cannabis products sold at our location are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or medical condition.

You should consult a licensed healthcare provider before using cannabis, especially if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, taking medication, or have a medical condition. Cannabis use during pregnancy or breastfeeding may be harmful.

6. Pricing, Payment & Taxes

All prices are listed in U.S. dollars. Prices are subject to change without notice. Michigan applies an excise tax and state sales tax to adult-use cannabis sales. Unless otherwise stated, displayed prices may not include all applicable taxes.

We accept cash and debit. An ATM is available on-site. We do not accept credit cards for cannabis purchases. We reserve the right to modify accepted payment methods at any time.

7. Orders, Pickup & Returns

Online orders placed through our website or third-party ordering platforms are subject to availability and age verification at the time of pickup. We reserve the right to cancel or refuse any order at our discretion.

All cannabis sales are final. Due to the nature of cannabis products and Michigan regulatory requirements, we generally cannot accept returns or issue refunds. If you receive a defective or incorrect product, contact us as soon as possible and we will work with you to resolve the issue in compliance with applicable regulations.

Third-party pickup is not permitted. The individual who placed the order must present valid ID and complete the purchase in person.

8. Responsible Use

  • Do not drive or operate machinery while under the influence of cannabis. Driving under the influence of marijuana is illegal in Michigan and is punishable by fines, license suspension, and imprisonment.
  • Do not consume cannabis in any public place, on licensed retail premises, or in a motor vehicle.
  • Keep all cannabis products in a sealed, child-resistant container and out of reach of children and pets.
  • Do not provide cannabis to anyone under the age of 21.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on this website - including text, graphics, logos, images, and software - is the property of Planet Purple or its content suppliers and is protected by United States and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any content on this site without our prior written consent.

10. Disclaimers

This website and all content, products, and services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

Product information, including potency and ingredient data, is based on manufacturer and lab testing data and may vary by batch. We make no guarantees regarding the effects of any product.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Michigan law, Planet Purple, its owners, officers, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of this website, your purchase or use of any products, or any transaction conducted through or facilitated by this site. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific product giving rise to the claim.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Planet Purple, its owners, officers, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or in connection with your use of this website, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any applicable law.

13. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Michigan, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising under these Terms shall be resolved solely in the state or federal courts located in or serving Van Buren County, Michigan, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of such courts.

14. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make changes, we will update the "Effective date" at the top of this page. Your continued use of this website or purchase of products after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
